I have a family friend in this facility. I’ve heard a lot of chatter about this place & wanted to say my peace. So far, my friend has been taken good care of. Therapy are all really nice. I just wish she could do therapy a little bit longer. She said Activities are OK. Nursing staff is pretty hit & miss. I hear a lot of chatter of their short-staffed so they do have to use agency quite often. It’s unfortunate because the CNA & the nurses don’t really get to know their patients . But I also understand this is a lot of nursing facilities in today’s day. The food actually isn’t that bad for being nursing home food. She did say if she doesn’t like the meal of the day they have so many different options that there’s always something that she likes. I actually received a guest tray at lunch today and I must agree, it was very delicious .Overall I’m actually impressed by the care she receives here!
My aunt recently stayed here for rehab after having a hip replacement. My aunt was very happy with her stay here; she received clear communication about what to expect during her stay, the progress she was making, and discharge planning to go home with the equipment she needed. My aunt also had great things to say about the food! As a nurse myself, I was very impressed with the care my aunt received here. They very clearly communicated throughout her stay, she received great therapy and nursing services, and the food was something I would actually eat. I would definitely recommend Coal Creek if you have a loved one needing care.

Coal Creek Post Acute deserves more than 5 stars! The building is beautiful and well taken care of. They have the best nursing, therapy, and wound care department out there. The care my Mom received while there for almost 2 months was above and beyond what we could’ve asked for. They have doctors on site and available at all times which is phenomenal for patient care. I would highly recommend Coal Creek to anyone that wants to assure their family is well cared for.
